Week 9 - Begin Intelligent Search

The material from this week is all about taking a bunch of things we have been talking about this semester and applying them to the domain of solving some simple AI problems. In particular, how you search for a solution in an intelligent manner.

When I was prepping the material for this week I sat down and went through my material from previous semesters of the class. I found a video from when I taught this at a F2F meetup with cohort 1 back almost three years ago. I had originally intended to re-record all of the video so that it was better divided up into chunks and it was targeted directly towards you rather than being a recording of an interactive session that you aren't/weren't at.

But here is the thing...

As I skimmed through the panopto video I made during that meetup with them I realized that, despite the fact that you can't always completely hear their comments, the video was actually REALLY good.  And a lot of what made it good was the spontaneity of the interaction with them and the things we stumbled on during discussions.  Re-recording this as me sitting alone in my office was going to make this boring.

So I'm going to ask you to simply listen to this session this week.  No homework assignments other than listening to this material, maybe taking some notes, and coming to our online meetup next Monday ready to ask any questions that linger.
