Course Intro

• Introductory Video

Prior to Small Group

• Identifying your beliefs about Teaching and Learning
  • Write prior to the SG meetup
  • Share with your partners (I think there is benefit to sharing before the meeting so you can see what others are saying)
  • Do not to submit on Blackboard until after your SG meetup

• Explore the State of Iowa CS Education Page and do a deep dive into the CS Standards.
  • Read and analyze prior to the SG meetup
  • Do not complete the Google Form to submit until after your SG meetup

• Review the results of the "Elements of Programming" activity completed at CoP#3 on December 9th, 2023.
  • There is no deliverable related to this. But you will need these ideas next week.
  • If you were not at the CoP on 12/9/2023 you will need to complete this activity prior to next week.
  • If you were at this CoP you may want to review.

At the Small Group

At the meetup this week you should

• Discuss what you wrote in your Teaching and Learning reflection [20-30 minutes]
• Discuss the standards [30-40 minutes]

After Small Group

1. As appropriate you may rewrite your reflection for the week prior to submitting.
• Submit the final version of your beliefs about Teaching and Learning on Blackboard (0/1)

 

2. Complete and submit your thoughts on the standards assignment using the appropriate Google Form for your grade band. (0/1)
