Chipmunk carcasses with dermestids (day 1)

Who is that sinister figure coming down the trail?
Mixed habitat (grasses, scrub and woodland) yielded 2 Peromyscus
2 Microtus and a Procyon
"Ahhhh, the smell of rodents in the morning - smells like victory"!
(O.K., maybe a little over the top?)

Ed's group, lots of diversity through the grasses and scrub.  We recaptured the yellow 
Peromyscus on the opposite side of the trap line (50m away) from where we powdered it!
